Ravens suggest NFL 'clean up' rule on fumbling out of bounds in end zone

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens suggested that the NFL look at what is considered one of the stranger rules of football.

In Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Washington Redskins, Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley intercepted Kirk Cousins and returned it toward the end zone. In an effort to score a touchdown, Mosley tried to extend the ball across the goal line but lost control of it. The ball rolled into the end zone and out of bounds.
