Ravens starting offensive line ‘close’ to being settled; late-round rookie receives high praise

The status of the Baltimore Ravens offensive line and who will wind up filling the three vacancies they created by moving on from both starting guards and the starting right tackle in the offseason has been the biggest storyline in training camp and the preseason.

After having a more veteran-heavy unit the past few seasons, they are opting to go younger and give several of their more inexperienced linemen acquired in recent years a shot to develop and prove themselves worthy to seize starting or at least primary backup roles.

Before the start of training camp, head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that they wanted to have the starting unit figured out after the first couple of weeks and “sooner rather than later.
