The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve waived QB Dustin Vaughn and signed QB Thaddeus Lewis to a contract.
Lewis, 29, is a well-traveled veteran who has played for a number of teams including the Rams, Browns, Lions, Bills, Texans, and Eagles. He signed a one-year contract worth $760,000 with the 49ers as a free agent back in March of last year but was placed on injured reserve with a torn knee and missed the entire 2016 season.
Lewis last appeared in an NFL game while playing for the Bills in 2013. That year, he threw for 1,092 yards while completing 59.
