Ravens sign HC John Harbaugh to 3-year contract extension

The Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday announced that head coach John Harbaugh was signed to a three-year contract extension.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti announced the extension during the annual league meetings, acknowledging that Harbaugh has continued to grow.

“No interest in having him go lame duck on me here. It’s not fair to him," Bisciotti told a group of Baltimore-area reporters. "I think John’s grown and grown and grown. It’s kind of interesting. I don’t feel like I’m just signing up the same guy."

Harbaugh, 59, has become one of the longest active head coaches in the NFL, serving 14 seasons in Baltimore.
