Baltimore signed defensive back Jermaine Whitehead from the San Francisco 49ers practice squad and cut tight end Richard Gordon.
Whitehead, 5-foot-11 and 193 pounds, is an undrafted rookie out of Auburn. He has spent the entire season with San Francisco.
Gordon spent just two weeks in Baltimore after the Broncos cut him earlier this month. He did not play in any games with Baltimore.
Adding Whitehead to the roster gives the Ravens additional depth in the secondary for the final two games, and it also gives them another young player to develop during the offseason.
