Cornerback Charles James’ wacky socks, gap-toothed smile and outgoing personality are officially now in Baltimore.
The Ravens have signed the ‘Hard Knocks’ favorite to their practice squad after he was released by the Houston Texans during their final cuts.
Baltimore released tight end Konrad Reuland to make room for James. The Ravens had already added tight end Dominique Jones, a former Bronco, to their practice squad over the weekend.
The 5-foot-9, 179-pound James played in 12 games with the New York Giants in 2013, making four tackles. He didn’t see any action last season, but had a strong preseason this summer, making 15 tackles over the Texans’ final three preseason games.
