Ravens 'seriously considering' raising ticket prices this year

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens are leaning toward raising ticket prices after not doing so the previous four years.

"We're seriously considering a price increase," Ravens president Dick Cass said Tuesday at the "State of the Ravens" press conference. "But we won't announce it until what we're going to do until probably the end of January, early February."

The Ravens currently rank in the bottom half of the NFL in ticket prices, according to Cass. The team has increased prices only once in the last eight years.

Cass pointed out that the team made $45 million in stadium improvements since the last hike in prices.
