The Ravens are mourning the loss of a staff member’s wife after a fire early Sunday morning at his Baltimore home.
The wife of Ellison James, who works in the team’s security department, has passed away. James’ daughter, Sage, is in critical condition at a Baltimore hospital.
The team prayed for James and his daughter in the locker room after their 16-13 win, and Head Coach John Harbaugh began his remarks announcing the tragic news.
“Certainly a more somber note,” Harbaugh said. “His daughter is fighting for her life right now, so I’m asking everybody to pray for her.
