Ravens Secondary Shredded

While the pass rush was the primary culprit for the debacle in Oakland, the secondary stood out as responsible for the loss to the Bengals in bold relief.

The drama in the secondary started on the 3rd defensive snap, when Rashaan Melvin took the field in the nickel, playing outside as Webb moved to cover the slot. That wasn’t a huge surprise given how poorly Arrington played in coverage versus Oakland.

Melvin’s 2015 debut in the defensive backfield lasted just 18 minutes and 19 snaps (penalties included due to significance).
