Ozzie Newsome has a brilliant resume and is generally recognized as one of the best GM’s in the NFL. But one look at the draft classes since 2008 will reveal that something is missing. That something is star power.

The Ravens haven’t drafted players like Jonathan Ogden, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed or Terrell Suggs since Joe Flacco’s rookie season. In fact only two of the last 57 players drafted by the Ravens prior to the 2016 draft class have been Pro Bowlers, namely Ray Rice and CJ Mosley.
