In a move that will be shocking more for timing than the fact that it actually took place, the Ravens are moving on from a wideout who they invested a fifth-round pick into just over a year ago:
Though he was a late rounder, Lasley was seen as a relative steal by some in the 2018 NFL Draft coming out of UCLA. He was viewed as a player with great raw ability who was destined to fall a bit due to some reported disciplinary issues both on and off the field.
This is a bit of a surprise given where we’re at on the calendar right now; just a week into camp, you’d think Baltimore would allow a younger player to go the distance in camp and at least make a case to be on the final roster come September.
