The Baltimore Ravens on Monday released veteran defensive back Lardarius Webb.
Webb, entering his tenth season, broke the news himself on Twitter.
Thank you Baltimore it’s been a great run. #StillChasinGreatness

Baltimore Sun beat writer Jeff Zrebiec later confirmed the move, which frees up $1.75 million in cap space.
A third-round pick in 2009, Webb converted from cornerback to free safety before the 2016 season. He started just three games in 2017, but appeared in all 16, notching 39 combined tackles, two sacks, four passes defensed and two interceptions.
