Contrary to an ESPN report, owner Steve Bisciotti isn't stopping the Ravens from signing free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“We are going through a process, and we have not made a decision," general manager Ozzie Newsome said. "Steve Bisciotti has not told us we cannot sign Colin Kaepernick, nor has he blocked the move. Whoever is making those claims is wrong.”
The ESPN reported that Newsome and head coach John Harbaugh supported signing Kaepernick but were vetoed by Bisciotti.
Kaepernick was first mentioned last week after news broke that Joe Flacco would be out at least a week with a back injury.
