Jeff Zrebiec reports that the Ravens are signing RB Bobby Rainey to a contract on Tuesday after RB Kenneth Dixon suffered meniscus tear.
This happens to be Dixon’s third knee injury in the past year and should keep him out between 6-to-8 weeks depending on the severity of the injury.
Dixon was already set to miss the first four games of the season due to a four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
Dixon, 23, was selected in the fourth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Ravens.
