OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett took a significant step toward playing against the San Francisco 49ers when he returned to practice Friday.
Forsett, who injured his ankle Sunday, missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday. He didn't appear to be favoring his right ankle during the media viewing portion of practice.
The NFL's fifth-leading rusher, Forsett has not missed a game since joining the Ravens, playing in all 21 games. Over the last two weeks, Forsett has gained the third-most rushing yards in the league, totaling 271 yards.
