Ravens promote WR/KR Jeremy Ross to active roster

Needing a return man and some more depth at wide receiver, the Ravens today promoted Jeremy Ross from the practice squad to their 53-man roster. Ross could be the team’s primary return man Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

To make room for him on the roster, the Ravens waived defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi. Bilukidi, signed to a two-year deal in February, was inactive for the team’s first four games.

Cut by the Detroit Lions in early September before landing with the Ravens, Ross, 27, had been the Lions’ primary return man the previous two seasons.
