The Baltimore Ravens have had so many of their assistant coaches get poached by other teams and college programs over the last two months that you’d think they, not the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were the reigning Super Bowl champions .
That offseason trend continued over the weekend when running backs coach Matt Weiss was reportedly hired to become the Quarterbacks coach at the University of Michigan.
Replacing him on the staff will be longtime offensive assistant Craig Ver Steeg who has been with the team since 2008 and is being promoted to be the primary coach of one of the strongest groups on the roster.
