Baltimore Ravens outgoing president Dick Cass and incoming president Sashi Brown on Thursday held a news conference on Thursday and discussed the transition.
Cass, 76, who has spent the last 18 years as the president of the Ravens will officially retire on April 1. Cass said he is proud of the team they established during his nearly two decades in Baltimore.
"The community really looks to us as a source of pride and I think we've become more and more deeply embedded in the community," Cass said. "We've only been here for a little more than 25 years and I think it takes a long time for a professional team to become a part of a community in the way that we have.
