Ravens players react to hometown's riots

The City of Baltimore needs a revival. Not this.

Baltimore Ravens players, former and now, are tweeting their prayers and promoting peace. Governor Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency and called in the National Guard when criminal activity broke out following Freddie Gray's funeral yesterday.

Here are a few of the messages:

I'm doing the only thing I know to do that is powerful beyond words. I'm praying for Baltimore. RAVENS.NATION. WE.ARE.ONE.

Violence is not the answer! Lord give this city a peace that only you can give a peace that surpasses all understanding.
