Ravens Place Rookie Receiver Darren Waller On Injured Reserve

The Ravens have placed rookie wide receiver Darren Waller on injured reserve (IR) due to a hamstring injury. Waller marks the 12th Raven placed on IR.

The sixth-round rookie suffered the injury during Monday night’s loss in Arizona.

Waller hasn’t made much of an impact on offense, as he’s notched two catches for 18 yards, but he’s been one of the team’s better special teams players.

His best play of the year on offense was a 17-yard catch in Pittsburgh that jumpstarted the Ravens’ game-tying drive in the final minute. It helped Baltimore to its only win so far this season.
