The Ravens have placed cornerback Sheldon Price on injured reserve and signed a familiar face in guard Vladimir Ducasse.
After making the first start of his career, Price suffered a biceps injury early in Sunday’s loss to the Washington Redskins. He had stepped in for starting cornerback Shareece Wright, who woke up Sunday with back spasms.
It’s a tough blow for Price, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2013, and spent his first three seasons playing in just two games for the Indianapolis Colts. In his second year with the Ravens, the 6-foot-2, 194-pound UCLA product seemed to finally have a chance at carving out a role.
