The Baltimore Ravens announced on Friday that the team has decided to "move forward" without defensive coordinator Don "Wink" Martindale.
In a statement released by head coach John Harbaugh, he noted the two had multiple conversations before deciding to part ways.
"After several productive conversations, Don and I have agreed to move forward in separate directions," Harbaugh said. "We have had a great run on defense, and I am very proud of what has been accomplished and the work he has done."
Martindale came to Baltimore in 2012 as the team's inside linebackers coach. He would be elevated to defensive coordinator in 2018.
