While the Ravens came up losers Sunday to the Denver Broncos, the telecast of the game was a winning proposition for WJZ-TV, the CBS-owned station here.
It was the fourth most-watched telecast in Baltimore this year, trailing only the Super Bowl and the Ravens two playoff games in January, according to Nielsen data from WJZ.
With a rating of 37.7, the telecast was seen in 411,600 area homes. That was the largest aggregate of homes for any regular season game since the Thursday night matchup between the Ravens and the Steelers on Sept. 11, 2014.
The 19-13 loss was seen in more area homes than any regular season Sunday NFL game the last two years.
