Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Justin Houston was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9.
Houston, 33, had 3 tackles, 2.5 sacks and an interception on Monday night to help the Ravens earn their six win on the season. He leads Baltimore with 8.5 sacks through the first nine weeks, tied for second overall in the NFL.

Houston told reporters that he contemplated retirement after the 2021 season.
