The Baltimore Ravens have officially activated running back Danny Woodhead to the 53-man roster, according to Baltimore Beatdown’s Kyle P. Barber.
To make room for Woodhead, the Ravens have waived tight end Gavin Escobar. Escobar was originally signed by Baltimore on October 23, 2017 and took snaps in Weeks 8 and 9.
Woodhead injured his hamstring in Baltimore’s season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game he had three catches for 33 yards. When injured, it was expected that he would miss 4-6 weeks. After week one, Baltimore placed Woodhead on the injured reserve.
