Scoring (72 graded snaps): 66 blocks, 5 missed, 1 QH, 63 points (.88 points per play). For an NFL game, I would make an adjustment considering opposition quality relative to the NFL replacement level, highlight blocks, and other factors outside the scoring system. Based on the players Ohio State had drafted, I think it’s difficult to argue this defense was not at the NFL replacement level or a little better. With or without adjustment, this is an A at tackle in the NFL.
It’s one game, but representative of the quality he’ll face in the NFL. He’s going to need to work hard to meet the conditioning and strength requirements of the NFL, but I’m a lot more excited about the draft pick after watching this game.
