I don’t want to pretend like the Ravens’ woes began the moment their owner stood at a podium and either flat out, unnecessarily lied or made a rather bold statement that he apparently drastically changed his mind about just months later. But boy, I can’t stop thinking about it as I try to figure out what to make of this organization right now.
The Ravens’ problems, of course, began almost immediately after they won Super Bowl XLVII. You remember how that played out, right? Receiver Anquan Boldin was dealt for a song (and a crummy song at that -- like something by Lil’ Yachty), and then they drafted safety Matt Elam and linebacker Arthur Brown with their top two picks.
