Ravens: Matt Schaub is looking a lot like Kyle Boller

John Harbaugh has consistently defended his #2 quarterback, Matt Schaub, throughout the offseason. The Ravens certainly don’t seem to have any intentions of rolling through the 2015 season with anyone other than Schaub holding the clipboard. But his play has to be raising some concerns.

Schaub hit a new low for the Ravens in Saturday night’s preseason loss to the Redskins, absorbing 3 sacks, tossing another interception, fumbling once, and finishing with a horrid quarterback rating of 10.7. His passing was errant and inaccurate, and his decision making has been questionable.

None of this should surprise fans, who have watched Schaub go from being a Pro Bowler to losing the Raiders’ 2014 quarterback competition after he played his way out of Houston.
