Acquired by the Ravens from the Miami Dolphins last month in exchange for a 2016 seventh-round NFL draft pick, cornerback Will Davis was getting an opportunity with his new team.
Davis, who made a couple of big plays in his debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers, had become the Ravens' third cornerback. However, his season is now over and the Ravens are again getting thin at his position.
Tests revealed that Davis suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in the Ravens' 33-30 overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns. He'll become the ninth Raven to go on season-ending injured reserve.
