The Baltimore Ravens have been hit with an unprecedented number of injuries over the last month or so. And on Thursday, it continued to get worse with an unfortunate update regarding cornerback Chris Westry.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is reporting that Westry has suffered a torn lateral meniscus and is out indefinitely. The timetable for such an injury is at least 1-2 months, if not longer.
Westry is headed for the injured reserve while the Ravens are exploring external cornerback options such as veteran Buster Skrine, per Fowler.
