After a 12-year NFL career, 11 of which he played with the Ravens, safety Ed Reed is officially retiring.
The Ravens say Reed will appear at a news conference at 2 p.m. at the team's headquarters in Owings Mills to announce his retirement in front of his coaches and former teammates.

He had 64 career interceptions, ranking sixth all-time in NFL history and scored 14 touchdowns over his career.
