Running backs have many roles in a football game, whether it be carrying the ball, pass blocking, acting like a decoy, or going out for a pass. Although most people only pay attention to the stats a back puts up, the little things are often the things that endear them to their coaches and teammates, and keep them on the field.
Justin Forsett began his Ravens career as a veteran journeyman backup who was filling in behind Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro until Ray Rice came back from suspension.
