OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith returned to practice Wednesday after missing the last two games.
Smith, who is dealing with a back injury, was limited in drills on the turf of the indoor facility, where the Ravens practiced because of the rain. Coach John Harbaugh described Smith as "close" to playing on Monday.
The return of Smith, Baltimore's top cornerback, will help the Ravens slow down Dolphins wide receivers Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker.
During practice, wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. limped off to the side after falling to the ground hard during one-on-one drills.
