The Baltimore Ravens and Jacoby Jones will be watching the kickoffs more closely than others at Super Bowl 50.
The reason is Clete Blakeman has been named the referee for the Feb. 7 title game between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
On Thanksgiving night in 2013, Blakeman and his crew failed to call a penalty on Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin for his sideline interference on Jacoby Jones' kick return. Tomlin subsequently drew a $100,000 fine for his actions.
Blakeman was really not the one to blame for that officiating gaffe.
