Mike Preston is reporting that negotiations between the Ravens and free agent OL Jeremy Zuttah “have heated up” following the news that starting G Alex Lewis is out for the season.
The Ravens have already brought in veteran OL Austin Howard, but they continue to deal with offensive line injuries.
Zuttah would have an easy transition to make, given that he spent the past three years in Baltimore.
Zuttah, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2008. He spent six seasons in Tampa Bay before he was traded to the Ravens in 2014 for a fifth-round pick that eventually became WR Kenny Bell.
