The Baltimore Ravens season is just about finished and that is a merciful fact. The Ravens season was wasted in a mix of mediocrity and a rash of injuries but some good may come out of it. The Ravens may have found a few puzzle pieces that will save them time in their offseason rebuild.
For starters the Ravens learned that the most competent backup to Joe Flacco is Ryan Mallet. Keeping Ryan Mallet gets a little tricky considering they already have Matt Schaub locked up in the understudy role. Since Flacco went down however it became painfully apparent that Mallet is the only backup the Ravens should want in that role.
