This time of the year is difficult for many teams around the league, particularly those like the Ravens pressed tight against the salary cap.
With the current makeup of the roster, the Ravens are not scheduled to have much cash on hand to retain their current free agents or to spend on the open market when the new league year opens March 9.
But General Manager Ozzie Newsome said that could change over the new two weeks.
“This is the time of the year where we make tough decisions,” Newsome said Wednesday at the combine. “Between now and March 9, we will make some.
