Ravens have shown interest in free-agent cornerback Tarell Brown, sources say

Although the Ravens already have bolstered their depth at cornerback by signing Kyle Arrington and Cassius Vaughn this spring, they might not be done seeking reinforcements at the position.

The Ravens have shown interest in veteran cornerback Tarell Brown, but no deal is imminent, according to NFL sources.

Brown has met with the New England Patriots this spring.

The Ravens don't necessarily need to sign Brown, considering the return of starters Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb, but they learned last year how injuries can ravage the position.

Brown, 30, a former starter for the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, is still available for largely health-related reasons.
