Trent Richardson’s comeback bid with the Ravens has come to a close.
The former No. 3 overall pick couldn’t get on the field in Baltimore because of hamstring and knee issues, and the Ravens waived him from the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday. The team re-signed wide receiver Chuck Jacobs to fill the roster spot.
The Ravens signed Richardson in April after he spent all of last season out of football. The running back participated in the entire offseason program, but a hamstring injury kept him out of practice during some of Organized Team Activities.
