Baltimore added a very experienced offensive tackle to its practice squad Wednesday afternoon.
The Ravens cut third-string quarterback Bryn Renner and signed 6-foot-5, 304-pound offensive tackle Tony Hills, who has played for eight different teams over seven seasons. Hills has only played in 13 games over that span, and thus still qualifies for the practice squad.
Hills, 30, was an original fourth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008. He spent four years in Pittsburgh and played in four games in his final season there in 2010. He then went to Denver, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Oakland, Miami, Dallas and Carolina.
