Ravens starting cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb were absent from an organized team activity practice Wednesday.
With Smith and Webb not attending the voluntary workout, Asa Jackson and Rashaan Melvin lined up with the starting defense. Smith practiced last week and appeared to have no problems with his surgically-repaired foot.
Free safety Terrence Brooks ran around and took part in team drills, an encouraging sign for the former third-round NFL draft pick from Florida State. Brooks is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation from his torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligament, suffered in December.
Meanwhile, left guard Kelechi Osemele was the lone starting offensive lineman to practice.
