It wasn’t long after Earl Thomas signed with the Ravens that speculation began swirling about what number he was going to wear. Marlon Humphrey already held #29, Thomas’ longtime number in Seattle, so a decision was going to have to be made one way or the other in regards to who would get it.
Eventually, Humphrey gave up the number which then led to speculation about what number Marlon would eventually take.
After a pretty drawn out period of time, the third year player took to social media to announce what it was going to be on Tuesday:
It’s definitely an interesting choice, since DBs typically decide on numbers in the 20’s or 30’s.
