Ravens Bullish on Bateman

For the first time in several years, the Ravens won’t be scouring the free-agent market or the draft to find wide receivers.

General manager Eric DeCosta is confident the team has enough young playmakers on the current roster to make an impact.

The Ravens have a solid group of young wideouts consisting of Rashod Bateman, Marquise Brown, Devin Duvernay, Tylan Wallace and James Proche.

The Ravens are especially bullish on Bateman, who flashed during his rookie year. Bateman missed almost the entire first half of the season following groin surgery, but then he rewarded the Ravens for making him a first-round pick.
