The Baltimore Ravens and owner Steve Bisciotti have given $5 million to assist Catholic Charities programs in the Baltimore area, the team announced Tuesday.
The Ravens and the Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation's gift will support work at more than 200 locations in Baltimore City and nine Maryland counties. The grant is focused on early childhood education, food services, housing, workforce development, family stability and health care.
Beneficiaries include Our Daily Bread Employment Center, Christopher Place, My Sister's Place, St. Vincent's VIlla and Villa Maria Community Resources.
“These programs play an essential role in uplifting our communities,” Bisciotti said in a statement.
