Several current and former Ravens took to social media this week to express sadness about the violence that has gripped Baltimore.
Today, they’ll get a first-hand look at some of the damage, while also providing a helping hand and a show of support.
Head coach John Harbaugh and about 50 current and former Ravens, a group that’s expected to include Ray Lewis, who has called for an end to the violence, arrived at Matthew A. Henson Elementary School in west Baltimore this morning to spend time with students and staff.
The Ravens will also be bringing food and supplies to hand out after a nearby store that the students and their families frequented was lost in the rioting.
