The Baltimore Ravens have hired Greg Roman as the team’s senior offensive assistant/tight ends coach, it was announced Thursday by head coach John Harbaugh. The Ravens have also promoted Richard Angulo, who served as tight ends coach for the past two seasons, to assistant offensive line coach.
“Greg had other opportunities over the last few days, and we’re pleased that he has decided to join the Ravens,” Harbaugh stated. “I’ve known Greg for a long time, and he’s a hard worker and very creative. Our football team just got better.”
Roman, 44, enters his 20th NFL coaching season after spending 18 games over the past two years (2015-16) as the Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator.
