Ravens announce $144 million improvement project to M&T Bank Stadium

The Baltimore Ravens announced a three-year, $144 million improvement project to M&T Bank Stadium that will include bigger end zone video boards, escalators to the upper level, a new sound system and new video boards in the corners of the upper level.

The Ravens will invest $120 million into the upgrades, and the Maryland Stadium Authority agreed to contribute $24 million.

M&T Bank Stadium, which opened 19 years ago, originally cost $220 million to build.

“Not only will these improvements keep the stadium fresh, but they will enrich our game-day experience by delivering added convenience, entertainment and excitement,” Ravens president Dick Cass said in a statement.
