Ravens, Albert McClellan agree to terms on multiyear deal

The Ravens will be re-signing one of their core special teams players before he hits the free-agent market.

Reserve linebacker and special teams standout Albert McClellan has agreed to terms on a multiyear deal with the team, according to an industry source. Terms of the new contract aren’t known but the deal will be signed and finalized over the next couple of days.

McClellan, 29, would have become an unrestricted free agent on March 9 had he been unable to reach agreement with the Ravens, the only team that he’s played for in his career.
