The Ravens made another move today, bringing back cornerback Asa Jackson following his release from the Giants. The Giants grabbed him off waivers when the Ravens cut their roster to 53 players, but ultimately he did not make their roster either. The Ravens released promising wide receiver Daniel Brown to make room for Jackson.

The Ravens released Jackson despite the electric returning skills he displayed in the preseason, due to his inability to cover and tackled consistently, and more importantly, the intermittent lapses in judgement as a returner which resulted in several turnovers and gaffes for him in the return game this preseason.
