During their press conferences after this week’s Organized Team Activities at The Castle in Owings Mills, both Roquan Smith and Tyler Linderbaum were asked about the impact of having Lamar Jackson present at OTAs.
“It’s crucial,” said Smith, and Linderbaum added that “a lot of guys are happy.”
So was John Harbaugh: “I’m a coach; I want everybody here.”
That was the sentiment among the Ravens beat writers that assembled for the first OTAs open to the media on Wednesday, too. Something just feels different with a fully committed, present-and-accounted-for Jackson on the field, even though he wasn’t the centerpiece or even a featured part of the team’s practice.
